How to choose right type of concrete batching plant?
1. When selecting a cement batching plant for the project scale, the daily pouring volume of concrete is determined by the demand of the project, the construction period of the concrete project, and the production capacity of the mixing plant needs to be configured. Combine different batching machines according to the actual production capacity of the mixer to meet the concrete demand of the project. If the project relies entirely on on-site mixing plants to provide concrete, it is better to choose a dual machine mixing plant. This way, in the event of a malfunction in one mixer, the other mixer can continue to work to ensure the normal construction of the concrete project. Additionally, if there is a high demand for mortar in the project.
2. The requirements for concrete quantity and type vary depending on the characteristics of different types of engineering projects. Civil engineering and industrial engineering have different requirements for concrete based on the different structural forms of the buildings they construct. Generally speaking, the demand for concrete is increasing from brick concrete, frame, frame shear to pure shear. The demand for concrete in installation projects is relatively small, but the pouring points of concrete are scattered. The location of the station should consider that each point can be supplied to reduce unnecessary transportation work.
For municipal engineering, there may be a variety of types of concrete required, and the batching machine in the mixing plant can choose three or four buckets to meet different concrete grading requirements. If the amount of work is large and the pouring is concentrated, a nearby mixing plant can be set up to directly mix and pour, which is conducive to ensuring quality and cost; If the total amount of work is not small but the pouring points are scattered, a combination of the main station and sub stations can be used, or transportation lines can be set up to each pouring point, but the transportation time of the concrete should be considered.
3. After determining the specifications of the mixing plant based on the terrain on site, determine the location and layout of the mixing plant according to the terrain on site. Parallel station layout can be chosen for open terrain, while straight station layout can be considered for narrow terrain; Batching machines with flat ground generally need to be buried underground. For steep terrain, the batching machine can be set at a lower location according to the actual situation, which can save more space; Configuration of cement silo and admixture silo; The location and method of storing sand and gravel materials, as well as the total area occupied. The general material yards are separated by 370 walls, with a height of 2 meters, and the top surface is covered with asbestos tiles; If necessary for the project, a sedimentation tank can be set up on one side of the sand and gravel yard for the treatment of wastewater and waste residue. The location of the mixing plant should be chosen close to transportation roads and material yards to ensure the transportation and supply of materials, and meet the requirements of power and water supply.
4. When the mixing plant adopts mechanical feeding, it is generally fed by a cantilever shovel or loader. When feeding ingredients into the mixer, a lifting bucket is usually used, and large-scale mixing plants can also use belt conveyors with skirt shaped edges for feeding. A mixing plant equipped with a cement silo, where bulk cement transport vehicles lower cement and blow it into the cement tank, and then feed the cement through a closed screw conveyor. According to the material mix ratio requirements, the water pump and additive pump respectively supply water and additives to the mixing tank. Water and additives calculate time through flow rate, emit pulse signals, and transmit them to the control circuit to achieve metering purposes, in order to control the running time of the water pump and achieve quantitative water supply.
5. The transportation equipment for concrete must be selected based on the terrain and distance of the construction site.
